Question: What is "rendering"?Answer: it's a semi-realistically shaded piece with complex colors and attention to lighting and detail.(The one on the left is the normal shading standard to your commission, and the one on the right is a fully rendered piece.)

Question: what exactly is an "added character?"Answer: it's more than one character in a drawing. For example, if you wanted me to draw your character with your favorite TV show character, that would be an added character.

Question: What is a reference sheet for?Answer: a reference sheet is an artist's guide to your character/oc. It has a detailed guide of their colors/outfit/body, to keep each drawing as easy and consistent for your artists.
